‘The Yearbook’ is a mini-series project, a directorial debut by a famous actor ‘Mean – Phiravich Attachitsataporn’ under Ultimate Troop. He performed in the previous series ‘Love By Chance’. Mean is not only the series’ director, he is also an executive producer alongside ‘Pich – Witwisit Hiranyawongkul’, an actor from the legendary movie ‘Love of Siam’.
Even before the series has been airing, it gained a lot of attention. At that time, ‘The Yearbook’ became popular on Twitter through #ตามหานัท (#findnut). It is the new way of promoting the series by using MSN chat pictures, which ‘Phop’ created to find his best friend. This post has been retweeted over 2,000 times. The series’ lead actors are ‘Title – Teshin Anusananan’ as ‘Nut’ and ‘Man – Supakrit Charoonmatha’ as ‘Phop’. Both of them are the new actors from Ultimate Troop, starring for the first time in this series. There are also a lot of supporting actors such as ‘Prem Varut’, ‘Fah Sarika’, ‘Mean Phiravich’ and ‘Get Sorrawut’.
Some memories will come back
‘The Yearbook’ will take you on a time machine back to the year 2002, telling the story through the relationship between two best friends, ‘Nut’ and ‘Phop’ about their friendship, dreams, and promises, how they drifted apart. Will the Yearbook lead them to meet each other again? Or will there only be the memories in one yearbook left?
Besides the love story and friendship, another charm that this series presents is the realistic side of characters disguised with nostalgia. The plot of the series was set to take place in the late 2000’s in the analog era. Talking to someone you love back then was a lot more inconvenient than it is today. Moreover, it does not matter how old you are, everyone can easily fall in love with the heartwarming of this series.
Let’s discover the story in the Yearbook and reminisce the memories together with ‘Nut’ and ‘Phop’ every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on the application LINE TV.
