‘Zee – Pruk Panich’ and ‘NuNew – Chawarin Perdpiriyawong’ will share stories of their passion for work and their feelings in facing a major challenge through their roles of ‘Hia Lian’ and ‘Nu Kuea’ in the first series that they played together. ‘Ning Hia Kor Ha Wa Sue, Cutie Pie Series’ and the opposing charm through their eye sights.
If you have to view the other person as a work of art. What kind of art do you think he is?
Zee: What kind of art…..? Sculpture then. Because by molding, we can mold a person into life. Why don’t you try to be a sculpture? (NuNew becomes stiff.) A sculpture with a cute face…funny face…filled with love face. (NuNew: How do you do make a loving face?) Forgot that sculpture had a still face, right? (NuNew: Sculpture has one face.) Cement sculpture.
madan: Why is Nunew a cement statue for you, Zee?
Zee: Because we took photoshoot using this concept, so I felt pretty in. (Laughs).
NuNew: If you look at the colors of the outfits right now, it’s really flashy. I am not very good at art. So, I will see him as a picture for now. A colorful picture. There is a connotation in the color of the outfit, but sometimes there’s some abstract because I am unable to see through him. (Zee: Abstract meaning like there is no direction, there is no path.) Yes.
madan: You mentioned unable to see through; in what sense do you mean? NuNew: I can’t see what he’s thinking (Zee: Look into my eyes) Too scary, I will not look. (Laughs.)
Compare the other person to color.
Zee: Pink (NuNew: Why?) Because he likes pink, and he has a softness that is similar to light pink. He is adorable like pink squash jelly (NuNew: Squash jelly again!), really similar. Everyone had seen it, right? Jelly looks soft, chewy, and bouncy, right? So, I squash it more making it even softer. If anyone really gets to know him, he will be something like this. Squashy. (NuNew: Pretty pretty, please) Let me see you beg me a little bit more. (NuNew: I don’t want to beg you.) Aw… just one match. (Wait to see Nunew’s inclination in the video interview) Like this and will be something like this. But he is really good at inclining; he’s an inclining person.
madan: And for New? What color will Zee be?
Zee: Not red, please. I don’t want flashy colors. (Laughs.)
NuNew: I’m thinking. I see him in 2 colors. The first color is blue because he likes blue, right? (Zee: Light blue, blue, right?) Yes, he looks lively and some cuteness. (Zee: Are there any left in me?) Still cute, but not as cute as me.
Zee: You can stay with me.
NuNew: The other color is a bit dark brown, but not quite black, because there are some aspects that we haven’t seen each other yet, right? I still don’t know how it is. So, I compare the part that I still don’t know about him as black.
Zee: Oh, the color indicates personality. Which color will you want to see?
NuNew: I want to see pink (Zee: Talking about it, I am not usually pink at all, but I do have.)
The word ‘passion’ in Zee and NuNew’s views.
Zee: Passion, in my view, is that we have the energy to do something, wanting to do it, like when we work, we need to have motivation, have passion, you have to do this. Like today’s photoshoot, I also have a passion for photoshoots. After learning the concept, I feel even more eager to do the photoshoot because there are a lot of new things such as acting, photoshoots, and a lot more.
NuNew: It’s like he can read my mind. Because my answer is similar to him. (Zee: Yes yes, it should be one word) I also see passion as being inspired by something that motivates us to do things, wanting to do it well. We will try our best to make the best results, something like that.
Zee: Here, it’s only pink. Pink is here again.
The challenges in the roles of ‘Hia Lian’ and ‘Nu Kuea’
NuNew: Mine is full of challenges because my character is a person who has 2 characters. The first character will be a young master, neat, good-looking, and from a noble family. The other character is something that challenges me a lot because he’s a rather bad character, an engineering student, putting a bolt on his ear, wearing workshop clothes. These things don’t really match my real-life character. Like Zee mentioned, I’m a pink kid, so I am fit for being an engineer.
Zee: The mood is like in ‘Ning Hia Kor Ha Wa Sue’ you can say that there are pink and black characters. The 2 characters of Nunew will flip back and forth (NuNew: Yes. They are of opposite poles) really like playing 2 series.
NuNew: It’s really a huge challenge for me.
Zee: Me too. Every show is challenging, and all of them are exciting because each character’s story is not the same. And I feel that some characters in this story have some characteristics in the way that I have played before. I have to figure out how to play in order for people to believe in another character which is ‘Hia Lian.’ I have to do a lot of homework and a lot of talk with the acting coach because I don’t want it to turn out that I am similar to another character like that. I have two characters as well. One is neat and smart, and the other character will be pink color (NuNew: Pink secretly.). It’s like alternating between black and pink.
NuNew: The characters are similar, there are 2 characters as well
madan: So, do you express yourself more in black or pink?
Zee: I think it’s black. (Laughs.) That means I have more personality as black than pink. So, it’s much easier to play. But for him, probably…
NuNew: Pink (Zee: Right?) It’s the opposite.
Zee: That’s right. The challenge is right here.
NuNew: It’s like I’m playing him, and he’s playing me; it requires practice in playing.
Zee: Yes, it’s like being Hia Lian. And another character will be squash jelly.
madan: But he will turn to be a bad guy in return ZNN: Yes.
How do you break the ice and build a relationship for playing series together for the first time.
Zee: Actually, we’re in the same house already, in ‘DoMunDi,’ and we do a lot of activities together. Yesterday, we went to see a movie together, and communicate, even more, he is a man of a few words. I always tell him, “New, you can always consult anything with me. Whatever you want to ask, you can just ask me anything, it doesn’t have to be about work, it can be anything. Or if you want to know anything, you can ask me.” As for the ice breaking, we did act together with P’ Kla. What is it? (NuNew: Kala X Studio)
NuNew: We also shoot various content and record songs together. Some are considered ice breakers and tuning into each other.
Zee: But really, he’s really chill; everything is ok for him. I considered I’m a really chill person. Like asking what he wants to eat? – He can eat anything. Where to go – he will go anywhere, what to do, how to dress – he can dress anything, so he is really chill.
What do you think is the charm of each other?
Zee: (Laughs) Why make such a high expecting face? I think it’s his smile. Because I haven’t seen anyone smile with so many teeth. Show your smile. (NuNew smiles) See? He is really squashy jelly. Did everyone see that? (NuNew: Pink as well right now. . . . I am embarrassed.)
NuNew: I think of his stillness. But that stillness has nothing to do with being arrogant or anything. In his stillness, there will be some clumsiness. (Zee: Why tell them?)
madan: What’s his clumsiness?
NuNew: I can’t think of an example right now. But I want to say that in his stillness, there’s a cuteness inside of him, being playful and not arrogant. He’s not cranky or anything like that. He’s cute, something like that.
Zee: Tease. I like to tease him. If I teased him, don’t get angry with me. I just like teasing. (NuNew: Like to tease me). I also like to tease you.
